As we're moving forward, trying to make the forum as easy to use as possible, one of the features suggested was BBCode instead of HTML for formatting.
I can now say that BBCode should be enabled for every new post (Older posts that use HTML will still display correctly) in place of HTML, BBCode should also work for Profile statuses and Image descriptions. We will continue to support HTML for the wiki, along with some new formatting options coming shortly.
Supported BBCode:
[B]Bold[/B]
[I]Italic[/I]
[U]Underline[/U]
[Quote='Username',43]Quote by Username, in post 43[/Quote]
[Quote]Quote[/Quote]
[Code]Code[/Code]
[Color=Red]Red in colour[/Color]
[Size=2]Larger Text[/Size]

It was definately a good thing i suggested this to Simon then. As part of hardWIRED's user accessibility we're aiming to take every step we can in order to try and make the site more user friendly wherever possible.
The next step we should be taking is implementing an anonymous poll system which should allow guests to come to the site and instead of having to sign up and post (Which believe me nobody likes doing lol) they'll be able to give us 1 click feedback with what we're doing and hopefully the results should help us in taking our next big move for improving the site.
