    Well Simon's been hard at work restoring the site back to a functional state after the server switch and the garden update that left hardWIRED a little broken to say the least. The 404 errors should be fixed now, If you come across any please copy and paste the address into this thread and Simon will take a look for you.

    The wiki has also been restored and the articles are back, We're also aware that the images are still overlapping the skin and disappearing behind the sidebar as well as some other spacing issues across the site such as the reply box and the new discussion box.

    Here's a list of things we have planned for hardWIRED that should be coming soon;

    • An article/content management system allowing us to publish articles
    • A couple of new themes that me and Simon will be working on
    • An anonymous feedback system (Probably a poll) allowing users to cast a 1 click vote on what they think should be either improved or integrated into the site
    • BBCode parser for the forums allowing you to use standard BB Code (IE - [b][/b] for bold, [i][/i] for italic, ect. ect.) just in case you aren't familiar with standard HTML Finished, check this post for information
    • hardWIRED Video Handler allowing us to publish exclusive videos and guides for hardWIRED
    • Not sure if this will happen but possibly more support for publishing articles to Facebook and Twitter for easier advertising and promotion through social networking

    25/02/10 Update
    We're also aware that the images aren't currently working on the hardWIRED Image host and Simon's currently working to try restore them since they should still be on the database Also fixed.

    26/02/10 Update
    After speaking with Simon, The anonymous 1 click poll system seems to be approved and after he's done fixing up the site, Simon's going to start work on it. Once it's up we're going to announce it's arrival and hopefully begin another publicity drive to try get maximum feedback.

    Don't forget that this site is based on it's community, We want you to have the site how you like it, So please help us out wherever you can

    04/03/10 Update

    Now that we've all got some more free time from College/School ect. The next thing we should be implementing whilst Simon is working on the anonymous 1-click feedback poll will be some more CSS Themes for the site.

    If you happen to know anybody that knows their way around a stylesheet and would either like to learn how to style for the Vanilla/Garden platform or knows how to do so already please send me a private message with some contact details or examples of work and i'll see what i can do about getting you started on making themes for the site.

  • Im trying to learn... build in my own site with vanilla but I just waiting for some one to help me with the XAMPP server
